Obtain old chest x-rays for comparison
2)
Full pulmonary function testing (spirometry lung volumes, DLCO) ABG and 6 minute walk test
3)
Detailed assessment of occupational and environmental exposures
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit
1)
Spirometry
2)
Chest x-ray
3)
Old chest x-rays
4)
High resolution CT chest
5)
Strongly consider biopsy for definitive diagnosis prior to institution of a therapeutic intervention.
