Suggested Pre-Referral Evaluation and Management Guidelines NSAID unless contraindicated
Suggested Additional Test/Management Prior to Specialty Visit
1) Rheumatoid factor, ANA, anti-CCP, ESR, CRP, CBCDP, metabolic profile, uric acid
2) If temp >100 page rheumatology consult service
3) Consider bilateral x-rays of most severely affected joints
