A referral from the primary care physician, therapist, dietician, or clinician is required prior to the appointment.
The Teenage and young adult Health Program attempts to see new patients as quickly as possible. However, if there are urgent concerns about the patient's immediate safety, please contact the primary care provider so that the child can be evaluated. For care of infants and young children with feeding disorders, contact CBH.
Families seeking hospitalization for an adolescent with an eating disorder may contact the Teenage and Young Adult Health Program for an initial evaluation or may contact Child and Adolescent Psychiatry directly for an intake evaluation.
Unfortunately, the Teenage and Young Adult Health Program does not see adults older than age 30 except in exceptional circumstances.
